GRL as a professional fuse switch and fuse link manufacturer.we made a update on the fuse links production lines and test equipments in 2021.  Different types of fuses have different protection characteristics. GRL fuse switch there are NH/NT fuse link , fuse link with indicator,cylinderial fuse link ,such as 10mm*38mm, 14mm*51mm ,22mm*58mm,10mm*85mm. AC690V ,DC1000V,DC1500V and so on.  AC type and DC type for different application. Normally, we think a short circuit or continuous overload protection only .The principle of determining the rated current of fuse is mainly based on the capacity and nature of load. We could take a reference below :

1. For transformer, furnace and lighting loads, the rated current of the melt should be slightly greater than or equal to the load current.

2. For power transmission and distribution lines, the rated current of the melt should be slightly less than or equal to the safety current of the line.

3. For the motor load, due to its large starting current, it can be selected in accordance with (1.5-2.5) times the rated current.
