Vertical Fuse Base

The vertical fuse base is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated insulated voltage to 690V, convention heating current up to 630A. It is intended for fuse links with blade contacts. The base is made of fibreglass reinforced moulding material with high mechanical strength and high thermal resistance. It is an electrical component that is installed in the circuit to ensure safe operation of the circuit.

The vertical fuse bases are designed for the distribution of electricity and protection against short circuits and overloads in three phase alternative current circuits with maximum operating voltage of 690 V. They are intended for direct installation on horizontal or vertical bus bar system. Due to their modern and compact design installing is easy and gives much saving of space in substations and distribution boards. Each type is suitable for top cable terminal connection when installed on horizontal bus bar system.

Contacts of electrolytic copper, silver plated with back up springs for contact pressure.

Arc chutes provided in DMC housing for Arc Quenching.

Terminal bolt sizes are 10mm for 250A and 400A and

12mm for 630 Amps. Terminals at the bottom.

Suitable for Knife/DIN HBC fuselinks in size 1, 2 & 3

Housing of glass fibre reinforced polyester (DMC)

having high electrical and mechanical properties,

non inflammable, fire retardant and self extinguishing.

Specially designed for busbar mounting in Distribution Boards, Feeder Pillars, Power Control Centers and is available in all sizes – Size 1, Size 2 & Size 3
