ATS Structure & Working Principle
Structure
The automatic transfer switch consists of two miniature circuit breakers, motor, controller, and driving mechanism. The miniature circuit breaker with high-breaking capacity is used, and ATS has the same performances as MCB.Working Principle
The controller of ATS will detect two loops of power supply. When one loop has fault, the ATS controller will give a logic decision and send a command of closing and opening the related miniature circuit, to ensure the safe and reliable power supply.The automatic transfer switch (ATS) is a switch to transfer between two power sources. It is constituted by one or several change-over switching equipment and other necessary apparatuses. It is used to detect the power circuit. In addition, it changes over one or several load circuits from one power supply to the other power supply.
