Difference Between Load Break Switch And Disconnector Switch .
-Oct 4, 2021-

The first difference is that the current they cut is different.Because the isolation switch has no arc extinguishing device, it is only suitable for cutting off the current without load, and can not cut off the load current, short circuit current, so the isolation switch can only operate safely in the case of safe circuit disconnection, and is strict with load operation, so as not to cause safety accidents. The load break  switch can overload current and rated load current because of its arcing device, but also cannot cut off short-circuit current.

The second point is that the load  break switch has an arc extinguishing device, but the disconnector switch does not have such a device, so there is no such arc extinguishing device and what is the difference? The so-called arc extinguishing device is to better help the disconnect and closure of switching appliances, but also can effectively limit the arc, help the arc extinguished. There is such an arc extinguishing device, it is safer for switching appliances.

There are many disconnector switches manufactures in China mainland. But few LBS  suppliers. Thanks for our technical team, GRL solved the difficulty in recently years. And  Our LBS ampere from 160A to 1600A ,widely be applicated in various power control system.
